On the heels of the WHO World Immunization Week (April 24 - 30) #VaccinesWork, join us on May 10th in a joint ACCJ-EBC speaker event about the important role adult vaccines can play as part of Japan's preventative healthcare policy. We are honored to host Professor David E. Bloom of Harvard University and Professor Manabu Akazawa of Meiji Pharmaceutical University, both leading public health experts.

As Japan copes with an aging society and increased pressures on its social security budget, a move to preventative healthcare will be crucial in extending healthy life spans and decreasing more costly interventions such as hospitalization. Japan's immunization policy, a key topic of our 2017 ACCJ-EBC white paper, will be crucial as vaccines save millions of lives and are widely recognized as one of the world's most successful and cost-effective health interventions.

What will it take for Japan to become a global leader in preventative health? Join us to find out in this can't miss event!
